Careers at SI Robotics

We’re not hiring employees. We’re onboarding pioneers.

SI Robotics is building what others say is impossible: a full-stack humanoid robotics platform, made in Europe, engineered for hyperscale, and powered by reinforcement learning and proprietary bionic actuators. Our mission is to solve the global labor crisis through general-purpose robotics. We design every component ourselves—from motors to firmware to data pipelines—because that’s what it takes to win.

We don’t optimise for comfort. We optimise for speed, depth, and ambition. If you’ve been waiting your whole life to work on something that truly matters—this is it.

Role: Kinetics ML Engineer – Bipedal Locomotion

Teach robots to walk, run, and get back up.

Bipedal locomotion isn’t just about stability—it’s about adaptability. Our humanoids will walk through mud, ice, rubble, stairs, and conveyor belts. Your job is to make sure they don’t fall—and if they do, that they recover.

Your mission

  • Design reward structures, observation spaces, and control policies for bipedal agents

  • Use Isaac Gym / Orbit or custom frameworks for large-batch training

  • Deploy trained policies on real-world test rigs and iterate

  • Collaborate with actuator and simulation teams to improve real-world transfer

  • Explore curriculum learning, domain randomization, and closed-loop training

  • A reinforcement learning expert with obsession for humanoid motion

  • Experienced in continuous control problems and inverse dynamics

  • Proficient in PyTorch, Isaac, RLlib, or custom GPU-parallelised tools

  • Always thinking in terms of fall, recovery, and grace

Build reinforcement learning agents that master bipedal walking, balance, fall recovery, and high-efficiency motion on complex terrains.

Why it matters

A humanoid that falls is a prototype. One that gets up—is a product.
